School News
• OLG Spirit Day is Thursday, April 8th. Students may wear an OLG shirt, t-shirt, sweatshirt, or sports jersey this day. Students will wear uniform shorts, pants, skirts, or plaids.
• A big ‘Thank You’ - The OLG school staff is thoroughly enjoying this week’s Staff Appreciation Week and thanks all the parents and students involved. We are all feeling very spoiled!
• After school study groups will wrap up:

Thursday, May 8th --- 7th & 8th grade
• Trash Bag Sales Have Returned! Fifth and Sixth Grade students will take orders May 5th - 16th. Kitchen (15 gallons) Large (39 gallons) and X-Large (55 gallons) sizes are available at $12 per roll. Please see your favorite fifth or sixth grader to stock up on these quality trash bags! If you have any questions please contact Eric Moster at emoster78@gmail.com. Trash bags are also available in the school office.
• Washington DC Spring Bake Sale! Looking for some springtime treats? Come see us at the tables in ULMH after school on Thursday and Friday, May 8th and 9th, from 3 to 5 PM. This is Teacher Appreciation Week! If you'd like us to put together a little goodie bag for your teacher, please let us know! We'd be happy to put together a $5 or $10 gift bag with a variety of baked goods in a cute craft bag with tissue. For an extra $1, we can add a thank you card.
We will also have goodies for sale after Mother's Day masses that weekend, Saturday and Sunday, May 10th and 11th, while supplies last. Pick up some goodies for your favorite mom!
We will have a variety of delicious homemade treats, including GF and Vegan.

• Field Day is Friday, May 16th and You Are Needed! Field Day is the kids' favorite day of the year.

Parents, we need your help to set up, supervise the games, staff the stations, and clean up. Come for part of it or stay for the entire event. We appreciate whatever you can offer.

• UNIFORMS- Last Call!! Please send in those uniforms to avoid replacement fees.
• FALL CYO SPORTS (football, cheer, girl's kickball, girl's volleyball, and cross country) registrations are now open! Please register before the summer so that you do not miss out on summer practices! Go to www.cyoarchindy.org to register. NOTE: Cross Country is run with SSFC. You will need the Dual School Code (or to select "switch schools") to register - 125SFCSININ. Email athletics@ol-g.org for help! Additional sports information can also be found on the CYO website (www.cyoarchindy.org).
• BOYS Kickball: Reminder, St. Barnabas hosts a one-weekend tournament for boys grades 3 - 8 (usually the weekend BEFORE school starts)! A registration will be open on the CYO website for this (no fee until teams are confirmed). Once we get groups registered, we will grab a coach and get some practices scheduled! Email athletics@ol-g.org if questions!
• BOYS & GIRLS Flag Football: Grades Kindergarten through 2nd are encouraged to register with St. Mark to make an OLG Flag Football Team! Registrations should be opening up soon on their website (https://tshq.bluesombrero.com/Default.aspx?tabid=2240812). They do close early once teams are filled. • Upcoming Roncalli Choir and Band Events - Choir: Choral Pops Concert on Thursday, May 8 in the auditorium at 7:00 PM. All choirs will perform at this concert.
Band: Band Spring Concert on Wednesday, May 14 at 7:00 PM in the auditorium. The Concert and Jazz Bands will perform a medley of songs. The pops and band concerts are ticketed events. Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for students, and they are available at roncalli.booktix.com.
