Good Morning!
This week's Eagle Flyer is short but still good!
1. Thursday, August 29th is our first Three Things Thursday event. We are collecting new school supplies or cash donations for the Holy Family Shelter. In turn, students who bring in a donation or school supplies may come out of uniform.
2. What does "Out of Uniform" Mean?
From our handbook:
OUT OF UNIFORM DAYS
When the Principal has determined an out-of-uniform day, the students are asked to follow these basic guidelines: Shorts, Capri pants, etc. may be worn only when the warm weather policy is in effect. Dresses, skirts and shorts worn during this time are expected to be no higher than 3” above the knee. Students are asked not to wear attire that promotes drugs, alcohol or tobacco products or that has information the staff deems inappropriate in an educational environment. Spaghetti straps and sleeveless shirts or dresses and yoga pants are not to be worn. Exposed belly buttons, undergarments, cleavage, or bare underarms are inappropriate for school. If tight fitting pants/skinny jeans are worn, a longer shirt/top/tunic must be worn over the top of the pants to cover.
3. No School on Friday, 8/30 and Monday, 9/2.
Friday, August 30th is an in-service day for the staff. Monday, September 2nd is Labor Day. Enjoy your four day weekend!

If you haven’t received notification from us at all this school year, then check your Spam folder. The email addresses were verified at Open House, and everyone’s information is as correct as possible within our PowerSchool system. That information feeds our School Messenger system that sends the large group emails. School News
• All library books are due back to the library by Friday, May 17th.
• May 17, 2024 is our annual Field and Hot Dog Day!
1.) Due to an iffy weather forecast and current mud, we will bring the games indoors during the morning. Then kids will enjoy movies in the afternoon.
2.) Wondering how to dress your kid/kids? has each child's group and shirt color. Please check it out! In addition, typical sneakers/gym shoes, socks, and shorts are perfect for the day.
3.) What else do the kids need? A water bottle labeled with your child's name in a drawstring bag or backpack is fine.
4.) What about lunch? Our Hearts for Haiti ministry will grill fresh hot dogs for everyone. The cafeteria will serve carrots, chips, cookie, and a small water. Needler's Market provides an abundance of fresh fruit!
Finally, dismissal happens a little differently on May 17th. Cars will stage in the north church parking lot, then at 2:45 pm the traffic enters the south lot. We will dismiss either from the hillside or the gym, depending on the weather.
Lots of details but loads of fun!
Questions? Just ask!
• Special Dress Next Week - As our 8th graders begin their final countdown, they have planned three special days next week for all their friends in their school families. While this is not a requirement, the 8th graders hope that everyone will join in the fun!
Monday: Wear pajamas or wear something wacky
Tuesday: Dress for the beach or wear your favorite country wear
Wednesday: Dress from the past or dress into the future
We will try to keep track each day as to which outfit was the most popular. The 8th graders want everyone to have fun but they remind us to follow school rules when making choices about what to wear each day!
• Medication Pick-Up – According to the Archdiocesan policy, all medications (prescription and over-the-counter ) may only be sent home with a parent, guardian or other designated adult.
