Winners are drawn 3/15/25, and will be announced the next week in the Eagle Flyer and Parish notifications. License 002104.

Our annual "tailgate" party is being moved to the fall, on August 9th, along with a new Sports Trivia Adult Event!

** NOTE: Your registration costs barely cover the CYO fees, let alone the equipment, jerseys, and gym rental. Please consider buying a raffle ticket to help support our athletes! We need to sell 300 tickets to get to $5,400, which is still only a portion of the $10,000 needed to maintain our athletics ministry. If you enjoy having home games and playing as an Eagle (because we are the coolest!), please participate! Also, all of our coaches and board members are volunteering their time. Your donations go 100% to cover CYO team registration fees and equipment needs.

•  Tuition, Vouchers, and More - Tuition rates for the 2025-2026 school year have not yet been determined. Typically the rates are determined in the springtime once we have everyone's re-registration and new registrations. Then we can set the budget accordingly.

If this piece of legislation goes into law, then every K through grade 12 family would qualify for vouchers. The decision should come sometime in March.

You can go ahead and submit your 2024 tax return now, or you can wait and see what happens. We are unsure of what - if any - documentation will be necessary.

We will share updates as we get them. In the meantime, you can reach out to your representative and express your support of universal vouchers if you believe this is the right approach.

December 18, 2024

From Mr. Clady

As we come ever closer to the holy day of Christmas, may we be reminded of God's great love for us and our love for each other as we welcome Jesus...Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Let's look for the gift of Bethlehem's stillness for our families and those that we love.  Please take the time to see Christmas through the eyes of your favorite young person!  Sending my prayers for all to be safe.

In an effort to improve our own school's attendance, we will let parents know when a student's absences or tardies approach and/or fall into the chronic range.

Here are some ways you can help your child get to school every day and on time.

- Encourage your child to get out of the car and walk down the sidewalk to the cafeteria when the car line is long.

- Drop off at school before the big rush. Morning care is free after 7:25 am. Your child can get some breakfast, chat with friends, and come into the classroom without being rushed and rattled.

- If your child is in need of assistance getting out of the car, pull down to the dumpster area in order to keep the car line moving.

- If your young one is pitching a fit about coming to school, call the office and ask for assistance. Believe us when we say that the tantrum stops as soon as you drive off!

•  Continuous Improvement Journey - Parent Survey

Our Lady of the Greenwood School is preparing for accreditation renewal which will occur in the spring of 2025.

Parents and Community Stakeholders are kindly requested to take part in two surveys. Your feedback and input are essential to the process of helping our school grow and affirming what we do well.

The link to the first survey is Catholic Identity Program Effectiveness.

You will receive a second survey later in November.

As always, please contact either Mr. Clady kclady@ol-g.org or Mrs. McManus jmcmanus@ol-g.org with any questions about the survey or the accreditation process.
