School News
• OLG Spirit Day is Thursday, February 13th. Students may wear an OLG shirt, t-shirt, sweatshirt, or sports jersey with uniform pants, or plaids this day, while adhering to the guidelines in the school handbook.
• Friday, February 14 - Snow Make-Up E-Learning/Packet Day - We will NOT be at school in person. Teachers will set up e-learning or send packets home with students and will be available for a set time during the day. Teachers will communicate their plans with their homerooms as the time arrives.
• Monday, February 17 - No School - Presidents’ Day.
• OLG Friendship Grams- DUE TODAY!
Send someone you care about a Valentine's Day Friendship Gram!
Each Gram costs $1 and comes with a heart sucker OR sticker (please circle).
All grams and money are due to the office by Wednesday, February 12th.
Grams will be delivered to on Thursday, February 13th.

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) Guidance for Parents and Families - Indiana’s AI Guidance for Parents and Families is now available. This series of short videos supports parents with key AI topics, including AI literacy and AI security. You can share this resource with parents and families via this link or flyer. Contact IDOE’s Office of Digital Learning with any questions.
• Gather the Shoes - Please bring your old/new/used/any shoes to the collection boxes by the gym doors. The Washington, D.C. group is collecting them as a fundraiser. Shoes will be collected January through March.
• Purse BINGO - Donations Needed - Please consider purchasing a designer purse or suitable items for basket raffles for our Designer Purse BINGO (License #002041) which is Wednesday., April 30, 2025. Contact Jan McManus at 463-277-2030 or jmcmanus@ol-g.org if you have a new item you would like to donate. She will make arrangements with you to get the item(s).

Athletic News
• TRACK (3rd - 8th Grade - Boys & Girls) - Be ready to RUN! We combine with SSFC for track to accommodate all the different events. You will have to register as a DUAL SCHOOL on the CYO website (SSFC School code is 125SFCSININ). Please email us for assistance at athletics@ol-g.org. Practices will start in late February / March as weather clears!
• Athletics Annual Fundraiser! Raffle Tickets should be available tomorrow! Email athletics@ol-g.org or your favorite athletic board member (Moster, Megregian, Summers, Denk, Williams, Vislay, Mahin, VanBree) to purchase. We also plan to sell after Masses on 3/8/25 and 3/9/25. For $20 per ticket, you have a chance to win $200! Everytime we sell 100 tickets, a new winner will be drawn (from all tickets sold). Winners are drawn 3/15/25, and will be announced the next week in the Eagle Flyer and Parish notifications. License 002104.
Our annual "tailgate" party is being moved to the fall, on August 9th, along with a new Sports Trivia Adult Event!
** NOTE: Your registration costs barely cover the CYO fees, let alone the equipment, jerseys, and gym rental. Please consider buying a raffle ticket to help support our athletes! We need to sell 300 tickets to get to $5,400, which is still only a portion of the $10,000 needed to maintain our athletics ministry. If you enjoy having home games and playing as an Eagle (because we are the coolest!), please participate! Also, all of our coaches and board members are volunteering their time. Your donations go 100% to cover CYO team registration fees and equipment needs.

• 26th Annual RHS Athletics Cash Bash & Raffle presented by the Roncalli Athletic Booster Club, will be Saturday, March 1, 2025 at The Atrium. Doors open 6:30, Dinner served at 7:30, Raffle begins at 8:00. General admission of $125 includes 1 ticket, dinner for 2, drinks and raffle chances.
