• The OLG Middle School Presents ‘Aladdin, Jr.’ on Wednesday, March 12th at 1:15 and 7:00pm, and on Thursday, March 13th at 1:15 and 7:00pm. Come join us in Madonna Hall for our young thespians’ presentation. No charge!
• OLG Spirit Day is Thursday, March 13th. Students may wear an OLG shirt, t-shirt, sweatshirt, or sports jersey with uniform pants or plaids this day, while adhering to the guidelines in the school handbook.
• Major Fundraiser for Our School - Our Lady of the Greenwood School will hold a Designer Purse Bingo ( License #002104) on Wednesday, April 30th at the Moose Lodge. Doors open at 5:30, games start at 6:30. Single tickets are $25, reserved tables $180 for 6 or $240 for 8.

3. Donate a Designer Purse for the event. You may be that super-shopper who is always adept at finding terrific deals.
4. Sponsor our event. For $50, you can have your business, family, or group of friends sponsor a game. For $100, you can sponsor a purse. For $250, you can have an advertisement in our program. Plus, you will have shout-outs all evening long as well as our eternal gratitude.

• Easter Egg Hunt - Knights of Columbus Council #6138 is hosting the 31st annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sat., April 26, 2025, (the Saturday after Easter Sunday) at 11 a.m. at the field south of Our Lady of the Greenwood School. We’ll have a hunt for kids 4 and younger and kids 5 and older. It’s FREE with donation of a canned or boxed food item for the OLG Food Pantry. • RAFFLE TICKETS! We have sold about half of what we need to meet yearly expenses for the gym maintenance. If everyone who participates in CYO sports buys 1 ticket, our goal will be met. REMEMBER- your registration fees only cover CYO invoices for our teams, leaving no funds for equipment and jerseys. Please reach out for your ticket!

• It’s that time of year again! It’s Butter Braid Time! LaBraid Butter Braids and Pastries have been a staple fundraiser of the Washington D.C. Trip for years. This year, the fifth and sixth graders will be selling LaBraid Butter Braids and Pastries from March 10-18.
There's a great selection this year:
LaBraid Butter Braids are $18 this year. You can find your favorites in the following flavors: Apple, Bavarian Creme, Blueberry and Cream Cheese, Cherry, Cinnamon, Four Cheese and Herb, Raspberry, and Strawberry and Cream Cheese.
Pastry Rolls are $18. You can purchase Caramel or Cinnamon Pastry Rolls.
For $18 you could delight in your favorite flavor of Cake Rolls: Carrot Cake, Chocolate Crème, Lemon Crème, Pumpkin, Red Velvet, or Strawberry Cheesecake.
Feeling salty instead of sweet? Try LaBraid’s Pretzels for $20. They have soft pretzels, pretzel bites, and a soft pretzel baking kit available for purchase this year.
See your favorite fifth or sixth grader between March 10th and 18th to order! Deliveries will be made on March 27th.
• Trash Bag Sales Have Returned! Fifth and Sixth Grade students are raising money to go in 2026. Kitchen (15 gallons), Large (39 gallons) and X-large (55 gallon) sizes are available at $12 per roll. Please visit the school office to purchase and give them the fifth or sixth grade family name you would like to contribute to! More than $4/roll goes towards the students DC fund account!

• Gather the Shoes - Please bring your old/new/used/any shoes to the collection boxes by the gym doors. The Washington, D.C. group is collecting them as a fundraiser. Shoes will be collected through March.

• Roncalli Parent Shadow Day - As a future Royal parent, have you ever wondered what a typical day at Roncalli is like? Now is your chance to get a glimpse of what it's like to be a Roncalli Royal! Join us for a Parent Shadow Day on Wednesday, April 9 from 7:30-11 AM. This is open to parents of any future Royals...not just 8th grade parents. If you'd like to join us for Eucharistic Adoration that morning, it will take place from 7-7:25 AM in our Chapel. It is the perfect way to start your day, and an experience not to be missed!
We will start our official day with a light breakfast and talks in our Student Life Center, where you will hear from Kevin Banich (Principal), Katie Hibner (Director of Campus Ministry), Michael Wantz (Assistant Principal for Student Life) and current Roncalli students.
