School News
• Three Things Thursday is Thursday, April 25th. Students may come to school out of uniform this day in exchange for a monetary donation to the Ronald McDonald House. In addition, the 2nd graders are still collecting pop tabs. Pop tab dollars help defray the operating costs of the House for families that stay there. Please continue to collect tabs and send them to school for this worthy cause.
• Upcoming Back-To-Back TTT - May TTT will be the following Thursday, May 2nd. We are taking part in the National Eucharist Congress Archindy Service project collecting items for Hygiene Care packages. We are collaborating with the parish with this and our parish youth group. Students can bring in single items that would fill the care package. They don't have to bring in a full zip lock bag with all the items that are listed on the attached flyer found here.
• 2024-2025 School Choice Vouchers - Parents of students entering K through 8th grade, please remember to submit your 2023 Federal Income Tax 1040 form (pages 1 and 2) to either Mr. Clady or Mrs. McManus. Why? This is in order to verify your income eligibility for your School Choice voucher. We will soon start the application process. Help us help you!
• Student Information Sheet - After May 3rd, we will begin the homeroom assignment process for the upcoming school year. Would you like to give input about your child's needs? 2024-2025 Student Information Form is your link OR you can find the Student Information Sheet in English here and in Spanish aqui . Parents may fill it out if they wish and return it to the school office. Deadline is May 3rd.
• Field Day Volunteers Needed - It's the day for which our students dream about all year! Friday, May 17th is our annual Track and Field/Hot Dog Grill Out Day. We need YOU! Seriously! • ILearn Testing Continues - Oh my goodness, thank you for getting your kiddos to school on time and limiting early dismissals for appointments. ILearn ELA testing continues throughout this week. Beginning the week of 4/22, Math testing will run throughout the week. During the week of 4/29, fourth through sixth grade students will participate in additional ILearn testing.

• Yearbooks - Every family enrolling for NEXT school year receives one soft cover yearbook. If you are registered to come to OLG next year, your family will receive one (1) of this year’s soft cover yearbooks because it is now included in your registration. Yearbooks will be distributed in the fall. Only order if you need an extra copy or would like to add upgrades/enhancements, or if you are an 8th grader or not enrolling for ‘24-’25.
