• Stations of the Cross will be every Friday of Lent at 2:15 in the church,when school is in session, beginning February 23rd. Please feel free to join us.
• Three Things Thursday is Thursday, February 22nd. Students may come to school out of uniform this day in exchange for a donation to the Archdiocesan Missions.
• Riedman-Hunter Scholarship - Each year, the PTO awards three (3) $500 scholarships to graduating 8th graders who are planning to attend Roncalli High School. Application forms and criteria were handed out last week and are due no later than Thursday, March 15rd. Additional applications can be found via all 8th graders' emails, as well as in class.
• The OLG Middle School Presents ‘The Little Mermaid, Jr.’ on Wednesday, March 6 at 1:15 and on Thursday, March 7 at 1:15 and 7:00pm. Come join us in Madonna Hall for our young thespians’ presentation. No charge!
• Save the Date! OLG School will hold our annual Purse BINGO (license #002104) on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the Royal Order of Moose 2079 Lodge. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Games begin at 6:30 pm. Door Prizes! Raffle Baskets! Designer Purses! and more! Tickets are $25 for unreserved individual seats or $30 for reserved seats at a table of 6 or 8. Your 2023 Federal Income Tax 1040 is the best and preferred way to demonstrate your family's adjusted gross income. We highly recommend that you submit this information as soon as possible. • Multi-Child Tuition Discount Ends -
Beginning with the 2024-2025 school year, OLG Parish will no longer offer a multi-child discount. The reason? Because a student's School Choice voucher covers most if not all tuition, this eliminates the need for the parish to absorb the extra $500 per second, third, fourth, or additional child.
Most families will not see a significant difference in the 2024-2025 tuition bill. The exception is for large families who reside in the Center Grove school district.
Fear not. Thanks to our Institute for Quality Education Scholarships, we can offer help for large families that indicate a financial need and have children entering Kindergarten or higher grade levels. • Penny Wars - There was such an outpouring of generosity and class spirit during our Penny Wars. The Sisters of Providence, Catholic Charities, OLG Food Pantry, and Archdiocese of the Military will each receive their fair-share portion of the $3632.26 raised. Thank you to everyone for clearing out piggy banks, couch cushions, car consoles, wallets, and catch-alls to make this happen!

• It's Butter Braid time!! Order forms have been handed out and there are more in the office. Forms are due and the online store closes on February 19th. This is a great way for your student to earn funds toward the DC trip, as the product is delicious and sells itself. The braids will be delivered on Friday, March 8th, and must be picked up no later than 4 pm. If your child would like to sell online, email Anne McGee (lilmamacita07@hotmail.com) with your student's name, homeroom teacher, and the best email address and phone number.
We will have a table in the entryway of church to sell at the masses on February 10th, 11th, 17th, and 18th. If your child would like to sell at one of the masses, please email Ms. McGee. If your child sells at mass, they are responsible for delivering the product.

FROM INDIANA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH (IDOH): Annual Statewide Needs Assessment – Hoosiers are asked to respond to the annual IDOH Statewide Needs Assessment by Friday, December 15. The survey is available in both Spanish and English, and asks about the health and wellness of individuals, families, and their communities. Anyone living in Indiana over the age of 18 can take the survey and participants will have the chance to win gift cards for their participation. This is the best way for Hoosiers to let IDOH know their most important health needs. IDOH will use the identified findings to inform its work and priorities for the next Maternal and Child Health strategic plan. The survey is available here. Please distribute widely with your network and community, and consider sharing this information at upcoming events, via newsletters, or through social media.

Who: Parents/Guardians and their current 8th grader who is interested in attending Roncalli High School next year
When: Tuesday, January 30 at 7 PM
Format: English, Spanish, Burmese, Hakha, Zomi
Where: Roncalli Auditorium
What You Will Learn: We will discuss Roncalli’s curriculum of courses, and you will have the opportunity to go to classrooms to speak with teachers regarding different elective courses.
What You Will Need: Your phone! All materials are on Roncalli’s website, so we will be accessing the website during the meeting.
